Apple could be about to have a big couple of months with March and April tipped to see new products announced. Over the next few weeks we could see two new products and a refreshed iPhone.
Or, we might not see any of these things. So far we’ve seen plenty of rumors but few concrete pieces of information.
With that in mind we’d suggest keeping an open mind, but let’s dive in and see what might be happening in March and April 2023.
15-inch MacBook Air
There has been talk of a 15-inch MacBook Air for months and it could now be ready to be unveiled. This will be the biggest MacBook Air to date, with an M2 chip set to power the device.
There have also been reports that the 15-inch MacBook Air will use speedier chips, with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claiming the M2 Pro could be used. Either way, this could be a big product for Apple.
Yellow iPhone 14
A new rumor, this one has Apple releasing a new yellow iPhone 14 as soon as next week. That product will be functionally identical to the existing iPhone 14 but come in a new color.
Apple has released updated colors in the past, suggesting that it could do it once more. Apple is set to be holding a press event next week although details on what that will be for are sparse.
Apple Silicon Mac Pro
The Mac Pro is the only machine that is still sold with Intel chips inside so it’s only a matter of time before we see that change. When that will happen still isn’t clear, but it could happen in March or April.
The new Mac Pro is expected to look like the one that currently sells, but running an Apple M2 Ultra chip inside. There was talk of an M2 Extreme chip, but that’s now thought to have been canceled.
